When children come into school in smart uniform it makes a huge difference to the way the children focus on their learning in school. We ask that parents help to send their children in school uniform each day.

What do we ask for?

White shirt or polo shirt with the school logo

Black or grey traditional school trousers or skirts

Black or grey jogging bottoms (NURSERY AND RECEPTION ONLY)

Black or grey school shorts in the summer

Blue-checked summer dresses in the summer

Grey tights in winter and white socks in the summer

Black school shoes

Royal blue jumpers, sweaters and cardigans with the school logo

Book bags

We encourage that all children from Nursery to Year 6 have a blue Porters Grange book bag or rucksack.

PE Kit

White round neck t-shirt with the school logo

Royal blue shorts

Royal blue /Grey/Black jogging bottoms

Royal blue school PE sweaters

Black plimsolls or trainers

Hair

Extreme haircuts and shaved patterns are not appropriate. Long hair should be tied back to be kept tidy and out of their eyes. This also helps to reduce the cases of head lice. We ask that hair ties are small and that bows are not worn. Hair ties should be in either a neutral or school colour.

Jewellery

Earrings should only be small studs and must be removed by the child for PE. Children should not wear bracelets, necklaces, rings or any other jewellery. A watch may be worn but will need to be given to the teachers for safe keeping during PE or swimming lessons.

Pre loved Uniform

Pre loved uniform is available from the school office throughout the year. Please ensure that all clothes and belongings are clearly labelled with your child’s full name to aid the return of lost property. Please remember to do this each time you replace an item of clothing.
